Camo Friday!

Hi! I just thought I would post a little pic of Tatum Bug on Camo Friday. That's what we do every Friday! Daddy Ryan gets in his camo fix then. :) I thought this was a cute picture that I took of Tatum before work, and wanted to share.

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Little Miss Tatum Bug Eats Real Food!

Well Hello All - Sorry for the delay in the update of our lives! Last weekend was too hectic as I was graced with food poisoning. YUCK! But this weekend we are all good and happy. Tatum Bug ate banana for the first time on Saturday! She loved it! So we thought we would share pics.

We spent the weekend doing fun things. Friday night we finally got our butts to Twigs here in Spokane, a great restaraunt. We enjoyed a very nice meal and I was lucky enough to have a wonderful lemon drop martini. YUM! Saturday I met my lovely friend Sara for coffee and books because we are nerds and enjoy books! And Sunday we ate at the Harvester restaraunt in Spangle, WA, which I guess is technically where we live. For those Glendivians reading this, the town is about the size of Lindsay! But the food was great. Ryan spent the afternoon doing manly things like shooting guns and making jerky! And I spent the afternoon playing mommy and making dinners and baby food. What a Homemaker! Ha!

Hope you enjoy these pics. As you can see, Little Miss Tatum would rather show off her smiles than let me show you she actually did eat!

Little T-Bug Update

I thought it was time to update on our little T-Bug! She is approaching 6 months, which means she is approaching some real food! Exciting!

Tatum has officially completed a month at daycare and has done very well so far. I'm proud of her for being such a trooper! They like to put piggies in her hair, which is what these pics are from.

She is very close to sitting up on her own. She can do it for about 30 seconds but then falls to the side. Oh, and did I mention she said "Daddy" last week? And continues to say it? I guess this picture pretty much tells you who her favorite is.

Anyway, things are going really well. We are just loving little miss T-Bug and hope to see all of you soon! *Hint* *Hint* to Tatum's Godparents!! :)

Have a great weekend!

Kyle Gannon, World Famous Plumber from Great Falls, MT

Hello Fellow Blog Readers,
I just Had to post and share the link to Jill's brother Kyle's 15 minutes of fame. Most of you know Kyle so I thought it would be fun for you to see this. Kyle & his lovely wife Kelli live in Great Falls, Montana. One might not think such a place would have such high-tech plumbing and heating, but check this out.

For those of you who don't live in Great Falls, Kyle is always eager to do a side job for those in need. But, as his attorney, I have strongly encouraged him to charge $250.00 an hour (he's totally worth it!!). So, if you are interested, call me! :)

Here's the link: http://www.kfbb.com/news/local/38235114.html
And if you have trouble with that one, go to www.kfbb.com and look for the video under the Most Popular titled "Cutting Edge HVAC System Installed in Cascade County."

Check it out and give a shoutout to KGK!

Enjoy your weekend! :)

Parental Love from Tatum Bug

So I thought I'd post and show some pics of the little Tatum Bug giving some parental love to her mama and daddy. She has been such a joy as she grows up. I can't believe how fun she is! :) And already 5 months!

She's not quite sitting up...but she really wants to.
This pic is from when we went to dinner one night. She loves her daddy!
And these pics are from today. Ryan picked Tatum up from daycare and Miss Jen (the all-day lady) had fun putting in Tatum's first piggy tail!! We thought she was pretty cute!

Tatum Bug Starts School!!

Well, it's official. Tatum Bug has started school (ok, daycare). She started her first day Monday and she did great. It was me who was the basketcase!

The nice thing is that I get to go there every lunch hour and feed her and play with her for about 1/2 hour.

So, here is a picture of T-Bug. As you can see, she is quite smart these days. :)

Happy 2009!

We'll see if I can do a blog with a baby at the keys. HAPPY 2009! I love the start of a new year, so fun and full of so many possibilities.

I have to admit I copied my dear friend Sara and made a poster to display our 2009 goals and the progress. The thoughts were there, but after seeing her brilliant idea with all the pretty colors, I just couldn't stop myself. I had to make one of these:

Our goals consist of a November 2009 Family Trip to Vegas, a new and shiny Flatscreen TV with Bose Surround Sound, and the rest towards Debt Reduction, A Tropical Trip (Hawaii would work), and a Trip to Ireland. The last 3 will likely be continued into 2010 but we thought we would throw them in anyway. :)
So the journey and challenges begin. I immediately started rummaging through the house trying to find things to sell. Then Ryan reminded me the idea was to SAVE not SELL. But I did inform him I would be looking for ways to save by making things myself. Anyone who knows how to make a baby bath-toy holder, please let us know. :)

So happy 2009 to all and here's to the beginning of new adventures and savings.
And a Special Thanks to My Dear Teacher Friend Sara Filly for this brilliant idea.
