Dear Nuggets

Dear Nuggets,
Thank you for letting me be your Mama.
Thank you for letting me love you more than I ever thought possible.
Thank you for waking up and loving me unconditionally every single day, no matter what the day before was like.
Thank you for holding me tight when I need it most.
Thank you for keeping me grounded, showing me what matters.
Thank you for making me stop and smell the flowers.
Thank you for living messy - showing me how you make memories.
Thank you for letting me in on your imagination.
 Thank you, for being you.
 Love, Mama

Dear Jax, you are 3

Dear Jax, You are THREE. Oh how I love this time of your life. A time spent playing in the dirt, spraying the hose at your sister, and even peeing on your friends. You love to wake up and give your Mama a hug, snuggle in and hear about being her favorite boy. You HATE (your words, not mine) sleeping - even though your Mom says your not supposed to say that word. You love digging, digging, digging in the sandbox for HOURS on end. You love the basketball hoop you got for your birthday because it is "just what you wanted!" You love all things sweet. You don't like green veggies - except broccoli which you love doused in vegan cheese. You have recently started getting more dramatic when you hear the word "no." You love your sister through and through - and you often show it by hitting or biting. You quickly say "sorry Tatum" whenever you do something naughty, in an effort to avoid a time out. You talk like a 6 year old, even though you are 3. You can tell a story with the best of them. You know how to spell your name and count. You know your ABC's and you can color like a true artist. But aside from that you are too busy building and tearing things apart to worry about "learning time." You love to learn how things are made, take them apart, and put them back together. You are wild. Truly wild. But you are filled with the biggest heart I've ever seen in such a little body. We love you J. Thanks for being just who you are, and being our favorite little boy. Love, Mama

Dear Easter

Easter. A time to reflect. A time to remember. And a time to put Jesus first.

Dear Cannon

Dear Oregon Cannon Beach,

You had us as "Hello" even through puking kids with diarrhea and no sleep.
There's just something about the ocean waves, the sandy sand, the starfish stuck to the rocks.

We pranced and played and ran through sand, built castles and even a wind bunker one fine day.

As is Par

As is par for the course, my blogging has been lacking lately. I suppose we've been a little wild with a trip to Cannon Beach, birthday party for a dear friend, and siding this lovely old house we call ours.

I strongly dislike when my life gets too busy to blog for my babies, but sometimes it happens.

So here's a little photo dump.
