THE GREAT SNOPOCALYPSE OF SNOWKANE 2008

As you may have heard on the Today Show or other national news, "Snowkane" has received a record-breaking 59.6 inches of snow in December, most of which started December 17. This may seem like a joke to many, but no it's more of a Snopocalypse.

The weeks around Christmas were not spend last-minute shopping, rather they were spent last-minute shoveling.

The good news: The Spokane County Courthouse closed business December 18 and 19! And Cummins Northwest closed business December 18.

The bad news: The shoveling, the roads, the wind, the cold, the lack of stocking stuffers due to lack of last-minute shopping on Christmas Eve, the roof-shovling, the parental units departing Snowkane 2 days before Christmas to avoid getting stuck in the midst of the Snopocalypse...I could go on forever.
This is the view from our kitchen window.

This is Ryan shoveling snow off the roof, much to his dismay, but at the strict instruction of his lovely wife. On the news this evening, they informed the public that roof shoveling is not necessary. :)

This is the rockin' backpack that Tatum gets to ride in for outdoor adventures.
Told ya she loves the snow!
Pugsly is not so sure about this weather.

Tribute to Tatum Bug

Since this blog has just begun, I thought it was extremely necessary to put up some pics of the little T-Bug.

Born at home (yes...I said at home) on 8-17-08, she was just the precious sensation that the mama and daddy had hoped for.

Tatum's presence continued to add color to our lives and we are so thrilled for that. Here are some pics for you to see just what kind of personality this little munchkin has.

The Beginning of Something Beautiful.

This is the start of our new blog. We have been feeling a little left out being one of the few left to start blogging...so the journey begins. Our happy little family of 4 (Mama Jill, Daddy Ryan, Little Tatum Bug, and Pugsly) have so many crazy-fun things happen day-by-day that we thought it would be fun to journal these things. Pugsly is our first beloved child that we have had for pushing 4 years now. Tatum Georgia Nagle (Tatum Bug, Bug, or T Bug as she will be referred to in this blog) was born 8-17-08. Oh what a joy! She will add many new adventures and fun stories to our life.

So, this is the beginning of something beautiful...enjoy.
