Leavenworth!

We spent the weekend in the Barvarian Village - Leavenworth, WA - enjoying amazing food, fun, shopping, and family time!  The Cascade Mountains are just GORGEOUS and the Wenatchee River was an awesome meditation spot. I was able to partake in a little trail run along the river as well!

God Bless America!

We had an awesome 4th weekend blessing America with Kyle & Kelli. Tatum serenaded us all weekend with "God Bless America" and we played golf, hit up Silverwood, and lit fireworks.  Oh! And of course lots of yummo BBQ food. :) Love that family time!

We had our annual camping trip with the Smiths, Fillys, and Conrads.  What an amazing group of people and kids they are!  We seriously just love them all!  The kids all get along so well and the adults have great conversation.  Thanks for an awesome weekend, friends!

A visit from the Skannons!

We had the BEST visit from Curtis, Jen, Matthew & Hannah over Father's Day weekend.  It was so much fun!  The kids were able to reconnect and the adults were able to have some R&R.  We spent the weekend with some crappy weather, but we made the best of it with some shopping and family fire time. :)  Tatum LOVES her cousins, so they had a blast together.  And I think overall the Papa & the Daddys liked their weekend. :)

Pushin' the big 3!

Captain Underpants is 34 months!  In just 2 months she will be 3!  Where has the time gone?

Dear Tatum, 

You are getting so big!  You are full of energy, attitude, and life. You love to learn and spend your days at preschool learning so much!  You can count to 25, say your ABC's, point out all colors, and much much more!  You say the silliest things these days.  Your imagination is going crazy!  You love playing babies, John Wayne, house, kitchen, talking on the phone, and pretty much anything you can use your imagination for!  Your favorite pasttime is hanging out in the shop with Daddy. You love to play outside, just like you have since you were born. Your playhouse is getting a lot of use this year!  You love riding the four-wheeler & mower, but not without your helmet and ear puffs. You ride your bike so fast you leave black marks in the shop. You run fast, just like your Daddy. You are super silly, and we love your sense of humor!

We are so happy to have you little miss T. You are an amazing little girl that has our hearts in her pocket.  We are bursting with love and pride for your sweet girl.

Sunshiney Weekends in Pics!

A few photos from last weekend swimming in Nana & Papa's pond and then some fishin' photos from this weekend!  We finally had some sunny weather!

If I Were a Stay-At-Home Mama...

We would:

Start out with a little snuggling in bed in the mornin' and sleep as long as we could...

Then we would get up, have a little bit cereal and a tiny little bit TV please...

We would then get on our clothes and go outside to play...

But FIRST, puzzles!...

 Then we would head to town and run some errands, maybe do a litte grocery shopping...

When we got home we would read books while Mama cooked lunch...

And then we would enjoy a delicious & nutritious lunch...

And then Miss T would take a nap while Mama cleaned up the kitchen and enjoyed the view...

And since Miss T would probably sleep for 3 hours instead of her usual 2...Daddy would be home when she woke up! :)

WE COULD HAVE SOME FUN!
