Just Life

Well, what a weekend. We have been packing like crazy to take our long trip to the Dive for Kort's wedding. We are getting excited for the trip! The luggage thing is on the car, the suitcases are pretty much packed, diapers washed, and the house & P-man sitters are lined up! :)

I spent Saturday morning with Sara & her lovely little dude PJ at Mobius Kid's Museum. We had a good time and the kids had fun bouncing off the ground. :) Thanks, Sara, for getting us out and about!

Boating Action!

It was such a nice weekend, just doing our thing, relaxing without any company. No offense to our loved ones, but we haven't had a free weekend since Mid-July. :) It's nice to get back into a routine, I think we can all agree on that!

We took the boat out for a fishin' trip on Sunday so I snapped a few photos while we were out. We didn't last too long, as Miss Bug has taken to tantrums...yes, age 1 and she throws fits. Not even joking, she literally stomps her feet when she gets mad now. WOW. And she managed to trash Papa's boat with some gold fishies. BUT Daddy did catch a few fish so all was well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TATUM!!!

Well, last weekend was Tatum's partaaaay for her 1st Birthday!! :) Her actual birthday isn't until Monday, August 17th, but we had the WHOLE FAM DAMILY over this last weekend and had a great time.

We poured the other half of the MAN CAVE floor, which is now named "The Penthouse." There is more to the name, but it is only for big kid ears, so I can't post it here. I will post pics of the finished product soon.

We had a party Saturday which included BBQ Lunch, Cake, FOLF tournament on our land, horseshoes, hammock-swinging, and opening Presents in the newly finished Man Cave! :) What a day that was.

Sunday was spent at Silverwood, The Northwest's Largest Theme Park! The day was spent relaxing on the lazy river, getting a workout in the wave pool, sliding down slides, and swimming up to the bar for a cool drink. It was wonderful and fun-filled.

Everyone had to leave Sunday night and Monday morning, so now it's just the 4 of us + Mom again. Pugsly is glad to have the house to himself during the day again, and Tatum Bug is glad to be back to school. My madre is leaving Thursday morning, not sure what we will do with an empty house! :)

The Montana Nagles Come to Spokane!

We had a glorious time this weekend with the MT Nagles. Ryan's Mom, Sitsta Danielle, and Sista Beth were able to come over Friday and leave today. We had a great time showing them around our little world and the wonderful Spokane, WA. We were excited to show them our HOME and the turf that surrounds us. We are grateful they could come and meet Tatum. I'll post pics sooon of the fun we all had. We hope they had fun too!

Now, this week brings Jill's Family, Nana GG & Papa Jack. And then we can't forget Tatum's big day, very soon. Pictures will be abundant!

Jill's Birthday! And New Patio Furniture!

So Jill's birthday was spectacular as usual! :) Ryan sent 2 dozen lovely roses to my office, and we had a nice dairy queen ice cream cake. It's been a longstanding tradition that I have DQ Ice cream cake since I was just a little Jill. Unfortunately, Miss Tatum got a fever that morning, so we had to lay low. And it lasted all week! Poor little bugger. Here are some pics from the big day.

IN OTHER NEWS...we finally purchased a patio set on super clearance! I am really pumped about it. :) So here is a pic for all to see, and for those of you coming to Tatum's First Birthday Party, you will have a much better place to seat than the rickety old picnic table.

A Weekend with No Pictures???

So I decided I should update about our weekend, and I realized I have no pictures to put on here. BUT I will get some and add them later.

Saturday - Jill spent the day in downtown Spokane at Riverfront Park doing Street Law. It's basically a bunch of lawyers who volunteer their Saturday to go to the park and give out FREE legal advice. :) So that is what I did. I have one pic, although not of me.

Sunday we headed to Cabelas b/c it was supposed to rain. We had a grand time there, and then came home & did housework since it didn't rain. Ryan worked on sheetrocking the basement bathroom, and I painted trim! Tatum played on her horsey all afternoon with some measuring cups!!
