Dear T,

My sweet, sassy little 6 year old nugget. 

Today, you showed me grace. Today, you showed me love. Today, you showed me forgiveness. And I didn't even ask for it.

I had an epic Mommy fail and thought tomorrow was the dress-up-day that actually happened today. You even had yourself dressed this morning and I made you change. 

But this afternoon, when you told me what happened, my heart crumbled. I asked you if you told everyone it was your Mom's fault and she really messed up? 

Your response was, "No, I didn't want to have you take all the blame. It's not your fault." 

And just like that-grace. Love. Forgiveness. All because you love me. I didn't have to ask, I didn't have to apologize (even though I did), and yet you forgave me without even a second thought. 

I love you baby girl. Thanks for making this Mom's day.
